Front cover with a very political message. Typical for it's period, I think.

I like the typical collage-style of this book. The title means "The Russian System.".

This is a swedish book from 1966. I'm not sure if it's a novel or biographical, since I never read the book. Anyway the book is about the problems in Congo in the sixties.
Am I the only one finding this cover a bit obscene?

The danish title is: Escape from the dishes. The depth and childish look is very significant for the danish artist Ib Spang Olsen. It's part of my heritage and I like it.

This Cover matches the novel, which takes place in the Faroe Islands, where the nature is rough and weathered.

This is an example of another variation from Penguin, The Penguin Classics. I like the wonderful portrait of Ibsen :-)

A Penguin Special. It has more elements on the front cover, less stylish, I think, but still recognizable a Penguin book.

I'm very fond of the characteristic style of writer and artist Dea Trier Mørch. It's the style of leftwing artist of the seventies. I grew up with it, which is perhaps why it has sentimental value for me.
